The BMFA Northern Area achievement scheme coordinator Charlie Lee is organising the first achievement scheme training and testing day for 2023 on
Sunday 7th May 2023 @ PANDAS
The event is being held at the Pontefract & District Aeromodellers (PANDAS) club flying site situated within the grounds of Pontefract race course (thanks to the PANDAS members and committee for allowing the use of their field & facilities to host this event).

The idea of the days is that members who are interested in either taking a test or need any advice or tuition can come along. Examiners and instructors will be on site to help and assist.

Please make sure you have the following with you if you are attending on either day:
BMFA Membership Certificate.
Proof of Competence under Article 16.
A suitable aircraft to take any test or practice with.
The event will commence at 1000 with the flying site access gates open from 0900 onwards.
To assist with catering and numbers you need to register to attend (link below).
It is strongly recommended, that even if you hold another form of competency under Article 16, that you take and pass the current 40 question BMFA Recognised Competency Certificate (RCC) – link below.
This certificate lasts for 5 years from the date you take and pass it. It brings you up to date with the current rules and regulations. It also exempts you from having to answer the mandatory question part of any BMFA Achievement scheme test.
