The aim of the BMFA RC Achievement Scheme is to encourage RC model flyers to improve their standard of flying, improve safety, to raise awareness of the legal controls relating to model aircraft flying and to prove that standard and awareness to an Examiner. The scheme is run by the BMFA as a National Scheme and it is open to all RC model flyers, including non-members.
The Northern Area co-ordinator for the Achievement Scheme is Martin Lynn (contact details below). If you have any questions or need to arrange any tests at your club, please contact Martin and he will do his best to assist.
Martin is the chairman of the Pontefract & District Aeromodellers (PANDAS) club and also a member at the Dewsbury & Huddersfield clubs. He is actively involved in all aspects of training and organising the Northern Area Achievement Scheme training and testing days.
