The aim of the BMFA RC Achievement Scheme is to encourage RC model flyers to improve their standard of flying, improve safety, to raise awareness of the legal controls relating to model aircraft flying and to prove that standard and awareness to an Examiner. The scheme is run by the BMFA as a National Scheme and it is open to all RC model flyers, including non-members.
The Northern Area co-ordinator for the Achievement Scheme is Charlie Lee (contact details below). If you have any questions or need to arrange any tests at your club, please contact Charlie and he will do his best to assist.
Charlie is an active member of the Keighley Model Flying (KADMAC) where he serves on the committee and is their lead flight training officer. He is actively involved in the achievement scheme and assists at the achievement scheme training and testing days at Buckminster.
