BMFA Northern Area 'Flight Fest Fly-In' Event 2021Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th July 2021 1000 Saturday & 0830 Sunday for 'SWAPMEET'
We are planning this event in the hope that the Coronavirus situation will be under control by mid-July, with the planned government role out of the vaccine programme (let’s hope they are true to their word). However, the event will only go ahead if it safe to do so and it may be cancelled at short notice.
The BMFA Northern Area are organising a 2-day ‘Flight Fest Fly-In’ event this year, to forge better links between the Northern BMFA clubs and to try and encourage people to fly legally & take up the hobby.
The event is open to both BMFA members and members of the public to come along and see what we can offer and have a fly.

BMFA Flight Simulator
Helicopters & Multi Rotors
Control Line Flying
Latest Drone Legislation Information
SWAPMEET on Sunday Morning 0830 Start
No pre-entry required, just turn up & fly.
(BMFA ‘A’ certificate required to fly solo)
Club instructors and BMFA Examiners will be on site, to offer assistance and advice.
There will be a few ‘Fun-Fly Events’ over the weekend.
There will be no charge for the SWAPMEET, but you will need to bring your own table if you require one.

Directions: Exit at junction 32 on M62, drive half a mile towards Pontefract, where you will see a pair of white gates on the right-hand side (nearest post code-WF8 4QD).
